OOH Highlights 2013

New year, new blog and to kick off with here are a few of my highlights of 2013…

Talon Rebrand

September saw the launch of a new-look Talon Outdoor, six months after the rebirth of Talon and our move into new offices in New Cavendish Street. The redesign ‘reflects our values around vision, collaboration and transparency and captures the independent, entrepreneurial spirit of our company’. Read more.

Break-through Campaigns

The increasing success and spend on digital outdoor media in 2013 has been mirrored at Talon with new clients on board including Accord, John Ayling & Associates; and seven major new players joining our workforce. Talon saw several exceptionally impressive campaigns for brands such as Google, Camelot, Nissan and Sony PS4. In April Nissan floored commuters with a ground-breaking ad in Oxford Circus tube. Posters wrapped the walls, ceiling and floor inside the station, making commuters feel that they were walking on roof tops with a car gliding above them. Another high visibility campaign in November, when we launched a two week takeover of London’s OXO Tower, with the PS4 control buttons replacing the iconic OXO logo.

Serial Entrepreneur Award

I was amongst the talented people to receive an award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards on November 19. My Serial Entrepreneur Award was delivered to me by the legendary Sir Steve Redgrave. Read more here here.
